Even though it’s a green Christmas here in Niagara, the holiday season has been a wonderful one for me! Crazy mind you, as my partner and I have moved to Kitchener-Waterloo to our first apartment together – hence the lack of posts from me! I promise there are some in the making and once we’re all settled you’ll be seeing more of me, but until then know that I’m spending lots of time with my family and friends as we all should during this time of year!
The turkey is in the oven here at my parents and we’ve done our usual traditions of opening one funny gift Christmas Eve, followed by a great sleep and delicious brunch while opening our stockings Christmas morning. We just finished opening our gifts and we’re getting all the fixing ready to stuff ourselves for dinner. Afterwards we’ll snuggle in and watch some movies while enjoying some quiet time as we digest… while sneaking in some treats of course. Christmas is very quiet in my household as per tradition, and it’s a breath of fresh air after the past few weeks!
I hope that everyone can enjoy the holiday as much as I am and indulge in as many traditions as possible! It’s hard to believe that 2016 is less than a week away, but I have a feeling it will have a lot of great things in store. Until then, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good flight!
